My last bottle! A beauty too. Roman Bratasiuk no longer produces whites. That's too bad...but I love him anyway. If you see this wine, it could probably be bought for a song.
Amazing Champagne! Drank that one with the great Chuck Wagner last October! I tried to take a picture, but it would not work.
This particular bottle was a 2008 Mount Carmel. The winery is situated in Lompoc Southern California. BC crafts some of the most amazing Chardonnays and Pinots of the New World. Only that! All the bottle I have tasted of all their wines have always seemed to have a hole at the bottom. The wine just disappears! Life is too short, if you can afford it, to taste and drink Brewer Clifton.
One of the great Soaves I have tasted.
To my one friend, but what a friend! THE MAC! The wine explodes with Amazing aromatics of pure Verdejo grapes: zesty green lemons, beautiful herbaceous notes, GRAPEFRUIT, and flowers (too bad I'm cooking sausages instead of being pool side somewhere exotic!). The mouth follows with great nerve but with a round and plush mouthfeel. A clean finish on white sweet grapefruit. A great restaurateur wine, and a pleasure-giving-celestial* wine . Miam! I have no idea if this wine ages, but who cares, the time is NOW! * [We import this wine. That's why it's pleasure-giving!]
