“Astringent nose with notes of grapefruit and grapeskins. Strong acidity on forefront of palate with cat piss pungency due to clay soil and poor drainage of vineyards, most likely. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Paired with a grilled chicken breast or breaded halibut, either topped with Chevre goat cheese and marinated artichoke hearts with light sauce... this wine definitely fits in. On its own, though, one may find it a bit overwhelming.”
