In general I think this is a nice table wine. Pinot is a nice wine that goes with many foods, and when I walked into safeway I did not have a specific meal in mind. I just polished off a nice plate of pasta with a chard sauce. This wine did not let me down.
But I have to admit that there is nothing special about this wine. It lacks depth, a special something which you expect to find in a wine. The label says "produce Pinot for the People..." which in my mind is another way of saying peasantry. I don't think this is peasant wine but it's not special.
